About Montana Puckett
Montana is a Florida-licensed, board-certified physician assistant to Dr. Brian Schofield. He earned his Master’s degree in Physician Assistant Studies at the Florida State University College of Medicine in 2021. He grew up in small-town Tennessee, but relocated to the Tampa Bay Area with his family at a young age.
Montana developed an interest in preventative health and sports medicine early in life through his participation in various individual and team-based sports, particularly football, waterskiing and weight-lifting. Through these experiences, Montana found a passion for orthopedics and treatment of musculoskeletal injuries to help others be pain free and return to the physical activities in which they love.
Under the supervision of Dr. Schofield, he assists with seeing patients in the clinic as well as lending a hand in the operating room for surgical cases involving the shoulder, elbow, wrist and hands. He takes great pride in offering these services and looks forward to making a positive impact on his patients each and every day.
Aside from working alongside the exceptional team at SHB Orthopaedics, Montana enjoys spending his time in the great outdoors, whether that be hiking, bicycling, or hanging out at the beach with his close family and friends. He is an avid weight-lifter and enjoys playing guitar, barbering, and other creative interests as well.
