About Dixon
Casey Dixon is a board-certified physician assistant to Dr. Brian Schofield. She received her Bachelor’s of Science degree from The George Washington University in 2017, and received her Master's degree in Physician Assistant studies from Chapman University in 2019.
After earning her Master’s Degree, Casey served in the United States Navy as a physician assistant from 2019 to 2022. During this time, she served with 1st Tank Battalion and 1st Battalion, 7th Marines at the Marine Corps Air Ground Combat Center, 29 Palms, California. As the battalion medical officer, she was responsible for the overall medical readiness of over 1,000 service members in preparation for global deployments. While serving with 1st Battalion, 7th Marines, she executed a 6 month deployment with Marine Rotational Force-Darwin, alongside the Australian Defense Force. Together, Casey and her medical team conducted routine patient care along with joint U.S.-Australian Tactical Combat Casualty Care training.
Casey is a native Californian and is from Coronado, California. During her free time she enjoys working out, cooking, and spending time with her husband, daughter and labrador retriever.
